Music in the Crisp Mountain Air!
Eclectic Flair "Bridging the Strings" Concert
Three professional musicians-Theresa Ellis, fiddler and violinist, Algie Powers, singer/songwriter, and Martha Colby, a New York cellist, will grace the Ogden Valley communities with a concert of contemporary and historical music renditions. The pieces will range from Americana to classical and Celtic, and include Mormon story songs and healing music. A highlight of the concert will be a unique mix of well-known and original pieces, played as both solos and combined ensembles.
The Nashville-style songwriter in-the-round format, solo and joining together, will elevate the total sum of the trio's musical efforts. Two of the artists teach music students in their specialty field, and encourage students and their friends to attend. Children 12 years old and under get in free.
This is a must-hear concert for every age and every taste, with unique surprises for those who have a passion for music, but who always want to hear something new. The Music in the Air Concert is sponsored by Lodestar Productions.com and the Ogden Valley Community Church of Huntsville.
The concert is at 7:30 pm, Friday December 3 and will be held at the Ogden Valley Community Church at 7390 East 200 South, Huntsville, Utah 84317.
